Adventures in the Vegetable Garden
Wednesday, June 106:30—7:45 PMMeeting Hall B

You’ve planted your vegetable garden and your seeds and seedlings are tucked in and growing... Yay!
But now what do you do? How do you care for your garden, especially when things don't go as planned?
Common issues such as:
- Where did all these weeds come from?
- What about the critters eating the lettuce?
- What are those black spots on the tomatoes?
- Why aren't the beans thriving?
The focus of this talk will be on pest and water management, fertilizer, harvesting and there will be Q&A time for your specific gardening questions!
Presented by Judith Taylor owner of Seeds2Plate:
Judith Taylor has been gardening in Massachusetts for over 25 years. She has completed the Green School and Pollinator Stewardship certifications from UMass and attended the Seed Savers Exchange Seed School. She has hands on experience with growing all sorts of perennials, fruits, and vegetables as well as landscape design. Her passion is to share her knowledge with new gardeners as well as exchanging tips and tricks with those more experienced. She is using her experience from teaching classes at many local universities to spread the word on seed starting, growing, and saving to inspire people to get hooked on gardening! In her spare time, she manages the Littleton Seed Library and is building a food forest in her backyard.
