Cupcake Contest:

Contest is all ages. Cupcakes will be sold to benefit the Friends of the Townsend Library.

Contest Categories:

DECORATOR: This category is all about fun and creativity! Boxed cake mix is fine. Please bring 1 dozen or more decorated cupcakes.

MASTER DECORATOR: Decorate to impress! This category is about looks, creativity, and decorating skills. Please bring 1 dozen or more decorated cupcakes.

TASTE: This category is where you can show off your baking skills! Cupcakes and frosting must be made from scratch, and your recipes must accompany your cupcakes. Cupcakes will be cut for tasting. Please bring at least 2 dozen full sized cupcakes or 4 dozen mini cupcakes!

WILD CARD: The category for everything else! Cake-Pops, savory cupcakes, wild flavors, and any non-traditional cupcake you can imagine! Please include your recipes! Cupcakes will be cut for tasting. Please bring at least 2 dozen full sized cupcakes or 4 dozen mini cupcakes!

You are welcome to make cupcakes for more than one category, just submit separate registrations for each entry, and bring the quantities needed for each. Please label any plates, if you would like them to be returned to you after the festival.

10:00 - 2:00 Saturday drop off (2/22/26)

10:00 - 12:00 Sunday drop off

12:00 - 1:00 Room closed so staff can prepare for voting and viewing - feel free to hang out in the library (we will have some activities for kids!) or come back at 1:00!

1:00 - 3:00 Viewing, tasting, and judging

3:00 – 4:00 Cupcake sale!
